I began my career working at the largest Baldwin Piano dealer on the east coast in the early 70’s. There I had the opportunity to study the craft of piano rebuilding and refinishing with number of very gifted piano technicians. Piano restoration at that time was just in its infancy and I began to learn the craft in its early stages. By 1976 I had a small shop in Maple Glen, PA and I began my business on a part time basis. After a few short years the word had spread to local piano tuners in and private customers who were in need of my services in the area. By 1987 I had out grown my small shop in Maple Glen, PA and built my current shop in Perkasie, PA with the help of my Dad, my brothers and many friends. I also did restoration work for many large dealerships from the Philadelphia, PA to Washington, DC. Now the majority of my restorations are for private customers from many areas in the country. We have restored many Steinway, Mason & Hamlin, Baldwin, Chickering, Knabe and many other grand pianos. I started rebuilding and refinishing pianos while I was in high school and still after all these years later I still get the same enjoyment from standing back and looking at a vintage piano that we just restored and the excitementof the people when they come to the shop to see the completed piano!!!!
