I began my career in the early 1970’s working for the largest Baldwin Piano dealership on the East coast. There I studied the craft of piano rebuilding and refinishing with a number of experienced and gifted piano technicians. In 1976 I opened a small shop in Maple Glen, PA and operated on a part-time basis. Success and a growing reputation among local piano tuners and private customers led to a full-time need for piano restoration services. In 1987 I opened my current shop in Perkasie, PA. I became engaged in piano restoration work for many large dealerships in the mid-Atlantic area, from Philadelphia to Washington, DC. Currently, many restorations are for private customers throughout the country.

I restore Steinway, Mason & Hamlin, Baldwin, Chickering, Knabe and many other fine grand pianos.

A fine piano combines the highest qualities of tonal beauty and structural excellence. The finest materials for the frames, strings, soundboards and action parts are installed patiently and with great care. All pianos are restored using the finest parts available, authentic to each brand. Action standards ensure that professional musicians’ hands move smoothly, evenly and quickly across the keyboard.
